For The English Dept.'s latest ad in Portland Bride & Groom magazine, I was going for something with the crisp, playful glamour of the mod '60s...frothy hair, graphic eye makeup, but still fresh and pretty. With the help of Amber Daggett (makeup genius), Galen Amussen (hairstylist non pareil) and Paul Rich Studio (crack photographers) we nailed the look lickety-split. Of course, it wouldn't be possible without our "talent"--the smashing Sarah Weick. Thanks to the whole crew.Sarah wears the halter-style Getaway Gown in white satin shantung, my latest bridal design.
