Wedding Braids, The Perfect Wedding Hair Do

Not long ago I went to the wedding of the lovely Anna and Sam.  Anna's hair totally knocked it out of the park: A beautiful braid that moved into a loose bun.  It got me thinking - braids are the perfect wedding hair.  They are modern, fun and totally sweet.  They can be clean and tight or even loose and bed hair-esq!  I'm in love!  So tell me, would you do a braid?

DIY Hair Tutorials

How To: Maiden Braids

I've been wanting to do this hairstyle for aaaaaages - The Maiden Braid.  Easier than you think to master this do is both flirty and fun.  With thanks to A Beautiful Mess lets take a look at how to capture this beauty....


Steps 1-2: Braid two strands on each side of a center part. 

Steps 3-5: Wrap braids around the crown of your head and pin in place with one pin each.

Step 6: Arrange braids so that they cover the front of your head like a headband. Pin into place more securely until you feel comfortable.

Steps 7-8: Pull the rest of the hair into a ponytail and pin it into a cute messy bun.

Step 9: Add final pins and spray.
