Tiny Treasures

At Amorology, we love to have our brides pick wedding favors guests will actually use. Nothing is sadder than a favor tossed in the trash or forgotten at a table because your guests see no use for them! With these lovely Japanese chiyogami (old-paper) favor tins from Etsy shop gamiworks, how could you resist taking one of these unique treasures home!?



I love how the tins are all different, colorful and distinctly delicate. We would just love filling these with snacks like mini candies, mints or nuts for the reception! Guests could use these later as coin tins, accessory holders or even tiny gift boxes! Traditional favor boxes are always easy to find and fun to fill, but these keepsakes will have your guests raving about your attention to detail, and will surely remind them of your special day for years to come!

Southern Weddings Snippet: What happens when a floral designer is given a bridesmaid dress and told to come up with a tablescape design to match the dress? The following gorgeous display of floral design and creativity from some amazing floral designers. The gorgeous images were taken by the very talented Agnes Lopez. Each floral designer was given a bridesmaid dress to use as inspiration for a tablescape design. These designs are truly stunning and proving once and for all that inspiration really can come from anything...even a dress!

aisle love you forever

A little love for the aisle! How fun are these customized runners? They can add just the right touch and can be as simple as a monogram or as elaborate as an intricate design. This one found on Etsy by giant wombat would be perfect for a black and white wedding with a splash of color.
I also am loving the designs of L Seabol on Etsy. ..and the price is really reasonable. For an extra $45 you can add a monogram to your runner and an additional $60 will give you a hand painted border. I love how these can be made in to a table runner later or a banner to hang in your home. It is one of those things that you can repurpose later and I am all for repurposing!! It's always easier to justify when you can reuse things again. hmmm...I'll have to do a post on that soon.

If you are looking for a basic runner...try original runners. They have over a dozen colors available to choose from with a non-slip backing. This is a good thing for all of you who have had nightmares of you walking down the aisle and tripping. Nope...no worries here! They also have some gorgeously designed runners as well...but a little more high end. Definitely worth the look though.
