Looking for something fun and creative to do this weekend?  I've been taking alot of inspiration from Taylor Sterling the most awesome founder of The Glitter Guide.  She loves to chronicle her outfits over Instagram with an officially termed 'looking down picture'  Boy does she make some cute pictures!  I've been inspired to take some pics of my own when I'm liking my outfit so why don't you try getting creative this weekend and instagramming your own 'looking down picture'

Second Hand Sunday Score! Once Worn Jimmy Choo's for $60!

Welcome back to the week my darlings, did you have a nice break?  Yesterday was my very favourite Second Hand Sunday.  Our local council opens up the neighbourhood for a morning of garage sales.  We had a super fun group of family and friends ready to pound the pavement and the sales didn't disappoint!  From once worn Jimmy Choo's for $60 (spotted and bought for a lovely girl friend), a cute tribal skirt all the way to a half dozen of mini milk bottles for a buck there were bargains galore!!  Check out my scores below.....

Arm Candy Love

I've had an obsession lately: Arm Candy.  I can't get enough of arm candy.  Big bracelets, little bracelets and watches all perfectly combining together to give any outfit pizzaz.  Lately I've been getting into lots of golds but to be honest any stack will do.  So I'm curious; do you do arm candy and what's your perfect combination?

J Crew Bridesmaid Dresses

For regular readers, you know I am Ub-Sessed with J.Crew.  The clothes, the styling, annnnything to do with Jenna - they are all just brilliant to me.  This week I discovered a rainbow of bridesmaid dresses that could cater to any wedding style.  My vote is on the reds, what's your fav?

Glam French Wedding Interiors Inspired By Chanel

As soon as I saw these shots of Chanel's latest runway show I immediately thought there are some brilliant learnings to take away for a glam french style wedding.  So what's making it tres special?  Number One - the use of height creates a sense of grandeur. Ceiling chandeliers, high floral arrangements, mid height candelabra's - they all combine to create scale. Number Two - the colour palate. Creams, whites, golds and glass tones mix perfectly to create a luxurious palate.  Number Three - Opulent displays - Would you just look at that amazing food piled high?  Interspersed with flowers the display gives a sense of opulence.  So while you may not be able to do the Chanel version you sure can take a few learnings to apply!

Okay, Okay.  Last week I promised the obsession over Jenna Lyons was over.  But that didn't mean I could ub-sess over all things J Crew right?  He he.  Today we are looking at their top fall looks and analyising just just what makes the J Crew look - After much official scientific observation I'm going with layer upon layer with bright pops of colour or pattern.  And of course that easy breesy natural hair and make up.  I've tried plenty of times to achieve this, the more mis matched I go the better the outcome.  Do you try the J Crew look?  What do you think makes it so positively J Crew?

The Obsession With Jenna Lyons Continues

Oh Lordy, the obsession with Jenna Lyons continues.  Today, we're peeking into her office where all the J Crew magic happens. Jenna's space if full of inspiration, from art she's gotten from school project fairs to tape she bought in Paris which lines her notepaper.  Its comfortable, stylish and a little bit sparkly, just like her.
