Controversial statement: The standard lantern has had its day. Bride's I am talking to are after something that hasn't been done to death. So the challenge now is to take your chinese lantern and customise it to create a unique and special touch. For our wedding we stuck paper squares and mini paper flowers to give a fresh feel. Then, we installed some battery operated fairy lights so as the sun dipped the lanterns glowed. They gave a beautiful mood and looked super special.
